U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking  applications from qualified individuals for Administrative Management Assistant (FAC-Data Analyst) position in U.S. Consulate General, Karachi.

Basic Function of the Position –  To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Facility Management division, the incumbent collects and analyses data, as well as implements quality management systems. Analyses data to identify potential waste, fraud, or inefficiencies. The incumbent recommends changes to existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and creates new SOPs to address vulnerabilities. Reports directly to the Facility Manager and advises the entire FM division. Responsible for evaluating Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) performance data and reporting Sustainability Management System (SMS) key performance indicators. This could contain recommendations for facility work plans, asset inventories, annual inspection summaries, and preventative maintenance chores. The incumbent is responsible for keeping track of deadlines for submitting reports and action items, as well as supporting FM scheduling.

Qualification Requirements:

HR has issued this vacancy announcement Karachi-2024-T-015 with three options. 

Option-1 With the original education and experience requirements - Full Performance Level (Grade - FSN-8).

Option-2 With two years of experience Training Level (Grade - FSN-7).

Option-3 With one year of experience - Training Level (Grade - FSN-6).

For the experience requirements, applicants must meet either Option-1, Option-2 or Option-3 to qualify for the respective grades.

Option-1: Full Performance Level (Grade - FSN-8)

EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (3) years of experience in data analytics, handling large data sets and relational databases, monitoring, reporting and tracking performance using data visualization tools is required. 

OR

Option-2: Training Level (Grade - FSN-7)

EXPERIENCE: Minimum two (2) years of experience in data analytics, handling large data sets and relational databases, monitoring, reporting and tracking performance using data visualization tools is required. 

OR

Option-3: Training Level (Grade - FSN-6)

EXPERIENCE: Minimum One (1) year of experience in data analytics, handling large data sets and relational databases, monitoring, reporting and tracking performance using data visualization tools is required. 

EDUCATION: 

: Completion of University Degree (16 years of education) in Data Analytics (Data Science), Statistics, Business Administration, or Organizational Management is required.  

Job Knowledge: The incumbent must have excellent knowledge, great technical abilities, and a full understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and practices, as well as the ability to apply Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to run a successful preventive maintenance program and report on sustainment management. The incumbent must have extensive understanding of administrative support services in order to give detailed and satisfactory assistance to customers.  Should have a thorough understanding of data processing, data mining, and analytics tools in order to investigate wide elements of operations. The incumbent should be knowledgeable with data analysis approaches that use both qualitative and quantitative procedures. The incumbent must be able to work well with people from various organisations and cultures.

LANGUAGE Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Urdu are required. English language skills may be tested.

Skills And Abilities:

The incumbent must be able to collect and analyse data on specific topics, draw findings, and provide recommendations for action. Must have good interpersonal, briefing, and writing abilities. The incumbent should be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other general software applications. Should be able to consult and explain technologies to non-technical users. The incumbent must be able to take the initiative to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve general software application issues. The incumbent must be able to self-teach new technologies, adjust existing processes and procedures, and employ effective communication skills to express user wants and system requirements. Skills and abilities can be tested.
