SHRRP Background:  

The Sindh Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (SHRRP) is a collaboration of all stakeholders working to assist Sindh People's Housing for Flood Affected (SPHF) with housing reconstruction and settlement recovery. SHRRP's mission is to ensure that "Flood families live in resilient homes and communities in Sindh." The SHRRP will assist SPHF with strategic planning, coordination, and collaboration with national and international organisations, the corporate sector, and public groups involved in Sindh's post-flood housing rehabilitation process. The platform will ensure that SPHF-led technical support and information management are streamlined, disseminated, and communicated at all levels. Prioritise The primary goal is to develop a fund-raising strategy and flexible resource mobilisation to fill gaps and give SPHF and partners with the capacity-building support they require of the platform. 

Job Summary:  

In support of Catholic Relief Services' (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable, you will manage the provision of responsive, effective, and efficient administrative services, as well as coordinate functions in two of the following operations areas: Human Resources, Logistics in the supply chain, Program Procurement, and/or Fleet. You will promote and ensure that resource stewardship and high-quality service delivery are integrated into administrative systems, policies, and procedures.  

Roles and Key Responsibilities:   

Plan, organise, monitor, and report on actions and resources needed to ensure that administrative support functions provide cost-effective and high-quality services. Consider delivery challenges to maintain service continuity.  

Coordinate two operations functions in addition to the administration function to guarantee that support services are provided in a high-quality and efficient way. Assist in resolving issues that influence the effective stewardship and optimal use of program assets and resources.  

Ensure that administrative systems, processes, and policies are consistent with agency requirements and donor and local legislation restrictions. Change office practices and manage revisions of systems, rules, and procedures to contribute to operational excellence. 

Ensure that SHRRP and CRS assets, as well as rented facilities, are used and managed efficiently. Ensure that the procurement of office supplies and asset management systems is completely compliant. Manage inventory monitoring, management, and reporting.  

Effectively manage and supervise administrative staff. Manage team relationships and employee wellbeing. Coach direct reports, create individual growth plans, and supervise their performance completely. Monitor and review performance to ensure the ability to successfully support high-quality programming. 

Serve as the primary liaison and manage relationships with important external stakeholders (landlords, service providers, etc.) on assigned administrative matters, ensuring that all necessary authorisations and paperwork are up to date.  

 

Help ensuring that employees have access to essential information, training, and safety materials and equipment in order to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. 

Manage the provision of travel and logistics support and services to both employees and guests. Manage event planning activities, such as delegation visits, trainings, and seminars. 

Basic Qualifications   

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related subject. A Master's Degree would be beneficial.  

A minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative support functions, with growing responsibilities. Office management expertise is advantageous. Experience with an NGO is a bonus. 

Required Languages - List languages required to perform the job  

  

Duration: 3 months (Possible extension) 

Travel - include percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be stated as Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications.  

Procurement experience is beneficial.  

Staff management experience and talents that provide a learning environment are advantageous.  

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio) and information management systems.

External participants include the SPHF team, other partners, counterparts, other governments, and others.
