About the role
The Monitoring and Evaluation Data Manager will be in charge of collecting, managing, analysing, and interpreting data relevant to CIRCLE's numerous programs. The ideal applicant will have a solid history in data management, particularly in Power BI, and will be responsible for ensuring that data-driven insights support CIRCLE's decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis:
Manage and organise CIRCLE program data, using Power BI to generate dashboards and reports that provide insights for program improvement.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Work with the M&E team to monitor the development of CIRCLE efforts such as DLP, DAP, and Tech Karo, while ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare comprehensive, data-driven reports and presentations to share critical findings with CIRCLE stakeholders while supporting the organization's mission and goals.
Technology & Innovation:
Stay up to date on the newest data management tools and apply innovative solutions to improve the performance of CIRCLE's M&E processes.
Key Requirements
A bachelor's degree in data science, social sciences, gender studies, or another comparable discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing M&E data
Experience with Power BI, especially the ability to develop complex dashboards, visualisations, and reports.
Knowledge of other data analysis applications and database management systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and explain complicated data findings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a team setting.
Pays close attention to detail and is dedicated to data accuracy and quality.
