 Procurement of Solar Dryer Trays and Essential Tools for Drying Fruits and Vegetables under USAID ERDA.

Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) is a non-profit corporation established under Section 42 of the abolished Companies Ordinance 1984 (now the Companies Act 2017). The company's overall aim is to promote economic development and relieve poverty in Pakistan through the growth of the nation's agricultural sector.

Associates in Development (AiD) Pvt. Ltd., as the prime recipient, and Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF), as the sub-receiver, are carrying out a USAID-funded project titled "Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts." The project aims to develop environmentally sustainable, socially equitable, and climate resilient economic opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs) by strengthening and modernizing agriculture and promoting on-, off-, and non-farm small- and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs).

This project is designed to improve the ability of 60 female farmers/entrepreneurs in District Swat by providing technical guidance and support in the form of sun drying trays and other necessary tools.
